This Wednesday, September 27, PCLP is proud to host attorney Julie Duvall who will give a presentation titled, “Working with Clients Who Have Learning Disabilities."
Julie is a graduate of Tulane University School of Law, 1991, has practiced in civil litigation, worked as a Deputy Pinal County Attorney, as a Law Clerk to the Hon. John Leonardo, Pima County Superior Court, and was a criminal defense solo practitioner for 11 years. She specialized in capital defense, primarily preparing capital mitigation to Judges and Juries in Pima County.
Ms. Duvall graduated from the University of Arizona, 2010, with a PhD in School Psychology, summa cum laude, and has researched and published primarily in criminal law, topics including demographics of juveniles transferred to the Arizona Department of Corrections, as well as mental retardation and the death penalty. Julie has practiced as a School District Psychologist, for 9 years, specializing in working with children who have disabilities and evaluations. Julie has been a Defense Attorney on the Pima County Public Defender’s Specialty Team since 2016.
We will be meeting in Room 156, and as always, pizza will be served at noon.
