Please join PCLP for a panel discussion of current students as they share experiences from their summer positions at prosecution, defense, or other criminal-related agencies.
The speakers we are excited to host are:
Reyna Araibi, who works as a Law Clerk at the Matheson Law Firm, a sole-practitioner firm in Tucson, that focuses on indigent criminal defense in federal court.
Samantha Walker, the current Udall Prosecutorial Fellow, who spent her 1L summer at the Town of Marana Prosecutor's Office and her 2L summer at the City of Tucson Prosecutor's Office.
Harry Yadav, who worked this summer at the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office.
Christina Billhartz, who spent her 1L summer at the District of Arizona Federal Defender's Office and her 2L summer working for a local criminal appellate attorney.
Krystal De La Ossa, who externed this summer for Magistrate Judge Maria Aguilera at the U.S. District Court, District of Arizona, and interned her 1L summer at the Pima County Public Defender's office.
Meredith Carvell, who interned this summer at the Arizona Attorney General's Office in its White Collar and Criminal Enterprise Division.
Dan Tilleman, who spent his 1L summer at the US Attorney’s Office in Phoenix working on criminal matters and his 2L summer clerking for a federal judge in Phoenix.
This event is a great opportunity to learn more about different criminal law-related opportunities and gain firsthand insight into each student's experience.
