Last year, Oregon became the first state in the United States to decriminalize possession of small amounts of all drugs and greatly increase access to treatment when it passed Oregon Measure 110, the Drug Decriminalization and Addiction Treatment Initiative. Theshia Naidoo served as one of the chief architects of the Oregon measure, championing forward meaningful drug policy change. Ms. Naidoo is the Managing Director, Department of Legal Affairs, with the Drug Policy Alliance and an expert and strategist in the area of criminal justice reform as it relates to drug policy. She will deliver a presentation about drug policy reform and the Oregon measure followed by an interactive Q&A with the audience.
