The Prosecutorial Ethics in Real Life series is an ongoing effort at Arizona Law to create a national forum for discussion of critical and timely ethical issues in criminal prosecution.
About James Comey:
Since graduating from the College of William and Mary in 1982 and the University of Chicago Law School in 1985, James Comey has been a prosecutor, defense lawyer, general counsel, teacher, writer, and leader. He most recently served in government as Director of the FBI from 2013-2017. His best-selling book, "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership" was published in 2018 and made into a 2020 Showtime television limited-series. His second book, "Saving Justice: Truth, Transparency, and Trust," was published in January. He is currently working at Columbia University Law School as a Senior Research Scholar and Leader-in-Residence.
