Please join PCLP in welcoming Mr. William Ring. He is Coconino County Attorney in Flagstaff, Arizona. He also teaches ethics and effective public service at continuing education seminars across the country and sits on multiple boards such as the National District Attorneys Association, the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys Advisory Council, and the Arizona Association of Counties. Mr. Ring is also an alumni of the James E. Rogers College of Law.
Mr. Ring describes his seminar as follows: "I will discuss how today’s prosecutor is frequently challenged by reformist concerns for basic accountability and for the exercise of prosecutorial discretion. In this seminar, I will address the source of prosecutorial authority and the purpose that justice serves in our communities, our society, and our governance. I will also identify the quantum of prosecutorial power in a justice system designed to produce acquittals."
